How do I send the photos I have at photoshop to my droid phone and assign them to contacts?

Amy

You could copy them onto the SD card via the USB cable, or if you have an adapter and compatible card reader, you could do it that way. You could also email them to yourself and save them.

After you've got them on the phone, you can view the images, then go through the menu to "Set As" a contact picture. Not sure of the exact progression of menu items though, as I don't have my droid with me.

RE; Adding photos

TY for the reply, but I don`t have an SD card (that I know of) just got the phone yesterday, I did try to email them to the phone, but when I open the email it says attachment removed. Can I change that so I can see the attachments? If sop how?

T.I.A. for the help, Amy

You should have received a 16 Gig SD card with the phone. Do you have an Icon at the top displaying no SD card? It is located behind the battery at the top to the left.

OK I don`t see an icon that says "no sd card" so I must have one lol and I have the USB storage setting turned on and connected to the pc, but I still can`t see attachments in the phone emails and no photos either, man it would be nice if I knew what I was doing lol. I have figured out most everything on this phone but the mail attachments and photos transferring GGRRRRR!!!

Each new Droid comes packaged with at 16gb memory card.

As for the picture question, are you trying to put pictures ONTO the phone, or use pictures you took with the phone as contact ID images?

Amy, you cannot see downloaded attachements unless you download the free version (for viewing only of document to go, search for it in the market place.

I had an iphone and had to send it back so to save the photos I sent them to photoshop and now I want to put them on the droid and I can`t see them because the phone removes the attachments in the email.

Then I would recommend downloading them all to a folder on your desktop, then mounting your SD card (via the USB cable, and "mount" procedure on the phone) and copying them onto the memory. The phone will intuitively detect them if you go into "Gallery" and from there you can view and edit them, and also set them as contact ID's.

OK I figured out a way to do it,.... I sent the photo from photoshop to my email on the pc, then I opened the email up from the phone then I set it as a contact icon. UGH What a drag I`ll have to send each photo to my pc email box then check it from my phone, theres got to be an easier way to do this :icon_rolleyes:

Ah...so when you said you "sent them to photoshop", you meant you sent them to ONLINE Photoshop?

That was my confusion.

I can't believe there isn't a bulk-download option. Silly iPhones...:icon_ devil:

Maybe you can use this to get them in bulk?
