Adding New non smart phone question

I will soon need to add two non smart phones. Hubby has an old motorola flip phone. He doesn't want a smart phone at all and is concerned that Verizon sells so few basic phones. He wants one very durable. Should I get him a new phone off eBay? If so what kind.

Also I am close to needing a Phone for my daughter. Will not get her anything but a basic phone to start. How do you add a line without changing minutes or contract? We don't use our 1400 minutes and the new plans would have me loosing my unlimited data. Any suggestions?

If you are on a current family plan then you can add any phone for an additional $9.99 to share the 1400 minutes. You find many basic flip phones anymore, but yes I would go to eBay for that. Which one to get..I'm not sure about that.

So you can add phones without changing plans?

You can get those phone prepaid plan. I don't think Verizon allow regular phone to be on contract anymore.
