adding contact from a text message

I just got my droid but I have few questions that I was wondering if people can answer!

I'm having trouble adding someone onto my contact list when they text me first. My phone is linked to my facebook so their name appears as it does on facebook but I cannot seem to find any button to add them onto my contact list on my phone.

Can anyone help me?!

Also, is anyone having trouble with facebook? I'm not getting any notifications when I'm suppose to.

Have you clicked on their name? Or click and hold on their name

yeah all i get is

call
open contact
send sms
forward
view message details
delete message
lock message

and when i click open contact there's still no save button

go into your text message thread where it shows who all has texted you ,
long press the number that you have the text from. The 6th selection down i believe is save to people. Then just choose if your saving to gmail or your phone thanks and have a good day
