Ad blocker for non-rooted X?

First, I'm familiar with rooting the phones. My droid has been rooted since I've had it.

This however is the wifes X and she don't want me to mess with it so... yea.

I'm looking for an ad blocker for her phone, that is for un-rooted users.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The only one I've heard of is for rooted users. She (or you) could root the phone, use the ad block, but other than that keep the phone stock. She doesn't have to do ROMS and kernels, etc... does she know this?

The ad blockers are going to need root so they can modify the hosts file. I doubt any of them will work without root.
