Accidentally locked MyTouch 3G?

Hey guys,
I was fooling around with my cousin's MyTouch, and I accidentally locked her out. I was trying to figure out her touchpad password and after a certain amount of being incorrect it locked her out. She doesn't know the Gmail account information she used when she set up her phone, and when she called T-Mobile, they told her she has to do a factory reset. She has a ton of valuable information on the phone that she can't lose. Any help is appreciated.

What is MyTouch? Isn't that an apple product? I'm confused. :shocked:

No it is part of t-mobile, so its not an apple product. And I think your best bet would to be call a customer service rep, from either t-mobile or gmail.

I'm not really sure how someone could buy an Android phone, which uses the Google account for just about everything, and then forget everything about said Google account.
