If i were to update completely...i know u can root again, but does bootstrap still work? And can you still flash roms like fission etc? Can you still oc? Just tryna figure if its worth updating or should keep it the way it is lol

yes bootstrap still works i just used it works fine.as for the other two i dont see why you couldnt i doubt they changed that stuff but i dunno i do know bootstrap works.

Both squidlys and fission are built with the update already in them. But I don't think it would ruin your chances of flashing these roms if you update. With the new sbf out too all you can really do is create more work for yourself if your phone rejects the rom.

No, he's saying go ahead and update. The worst that can happen is you have to sbf.

Everything will be fine actually you will get a baseband and a kernel update with the ota. You will have to reroot and such.

I sbf'd the 2.3.20 this morning and rerootec in about fifteen minutes max. Once everything was d/led it works flawlessly...not much more battery life even at low oc though and low oltage. Works a little smoother.

Thanks i went ahead and did it. Seems my service is a bit better. Im happy i can play my gay storm8 games again. Im on fission 2.0.1
