A messenger to communicate with BB?

My girlfriend has a blackberry, and I just got a Droid.

Is there a program that we can send messages through for free, like BB messenger or something else that will work?

Yes, there is google talk or any of the other messaging services that are available. There is no BB mesenger app and never will be. She will just have to install it in her blackberry.

Take a look in the Market and you should be able to find IM apps.

She said she has google talk on her phone already, all we have to do is add each other and we can IM for free all day? :-D

No. She lives in Germany and I live in the US. So texting gets very expensive, you can imagine. We use skype to talk, but during the day while I'm at work and she is in school, and with the time difference, it makes it a lot easier to txt for free
