The editor and chief of 2600 magazine was Eric Gordon Corley. He went by the alias Emmanuel Goldstien. Emmanuel Goldstein was the main character in George Orwells novel 1984. Eric Corley was also an adviser for the movie Hackers. In Hackers he used his own alias for the character Emmanuel Goldstein who went by the handle Cereal Killer. (as in fruit loops) Played by Mathew Lillard. Eric Corley is a pretty famous hacker.
