We have multiple reports coming in from last night that several users of the Unlocked Moto X started receiving the Android 4.4.2 update. To be clear, we are referring to the SIM unlocked version of the device.

Obviously most of us know that there aren't too many differences between 4.4 and 4.4.2, but it must be pushing out for a reason or two (or perhaps .2). It would seem that the soak test went well and Moto has decided to push out the update on a grander scale.

Sound off if you are one of the lucky folks who snagged this already.

yeah, I got it on my 1053 DE bought from Motorola on Thursday around noon -- I'm on AT&T and rooted, unlocked bootloader with TWRP recovery, so had to wait to get home before flashing -- before flashing the update, I flashed the stock recovery from 4.4 and replaced a custom boot logo that removed the "bootloader unlocked" warning with the stock logo.bin. Update flash went fine without incident, root was maintained without any intervention on my part
