.901 homescreen crashes during app search + other bugs

Couple complaints after manually updating to .901.

When I open up my app list, and click search, the homescreen crashes.

Stock Music App seems to crash on start up.

When using Universal Search, Apps don't appear unless i uncheck&check apps in the settings manually

Anyone else or just me?

First of all how long since the .901 update?
Second you might want to reinstall the update again.
that might fix these problems you are having.

I followed the stock .901 install thread on here a couple weeks ago, no issues.

You might want to try taking the battery out and then rebooting,this sometimes a simple fix I haven't heard of many people having those issues.The main issues I have read about is the signal issue.
I have had the .901 update for about a month and no issues as of yet,before that I had the .893 that installed right after i purchased the phone but no issues with that one either.

Im having the same homescreen force close issue and i also had to check and un-check the apps in order to see them in the search function. Music seems to be working fine though.

For what its worth, i dont seem to be experiencing much battery life improvement that people have been talking about either.
Im not rooted, but installed 901 from droid-life.

I also have the crash, but I never use search with the apps.

Stock music works fine, though.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I'm on .902 and if I'm in the app list and press either the hardware search button or press menu, the search from on the screen, I get an error message that reads "The application Homescreen (process com.motorola.home) has stopped unexpextedly. Please try again." It says this every single time I try to search through my apps. Even after a battery pull... never noticed this with any previous build.

For what its worth, this problem isn't just on bionic .901. I have the same force close on 2.3.5 and 2.3.6 on my razr.

Yes, go to Google Search in the Market and uninstall the updates.
