I bought the 32gb version the first day the phone was out. Happy with it so far, but have the 14 day window to bring it back in and trade if I want. Has anyone found a reason convincing enough for me to switch to the 64gb version? There seemed to be some bugs that were only effecting the 64gb version, so that's kind of a bummer. I usually don't store music on my phone and don't take a huge amount of videos.....

Other than fleas and mother in laws....I can't imagine ever wishing I had "Less" of some things. Storage would be one.
At $50 its a no brainer IMO. Look at it as future proof insurance.

Doesn't the OS take up 11GB? That would make me choose the 64 over the 32.

At the prices these phones are going for, as someone else mentioned, it's really a no-brainer, buy the bigger device.

Ollie, the OS seems to be bigger on the 64gb (11gb) versus the 32gb (8gb). Still end up having more storage with the 64gb, obviously.

It's odd that it would differ. I wonder what the extra space is needed for?

Also consider that each picture you take will be 5-10mb space. And 2k video will also require about 200mb for 1 min of video.

Windows 8.1 32 bit iso - 2.8 GB
Windows 8.1 64 bit iso - 3.7 GB

Seems 64 is bigger than 32 in other OS too.

I'm shooting 1920x1080 right now on the Note 3 and it clocks in around 130mb per minute. This is one of the main reasons I love MicroSD. It shoots it straight onto it instead of my internal sd.

You're comparing 32/64bit os vs 32/64gb of storage. One has nothing to do with the other.

If you don't mind could you tell us what bugs you've heard are only affecting the 64GB models?

You are 100% correct - I misunderstood the OP - my bad - I'm going to my room now and eat liver and lima beans for the rest of the weekend...

That was me about a dozen days ago.

Honestly, not quickly. I had seen people posting about some "bugs"on here and all the phones that seemed to be effected were the 64gb version. I realize its really not that great of an indicator, but again you are talking about the fact that I don't really have a current reason to point to I should definitely get the 64gb version. I understand extra space is always nice and money wasn't really the issue, but I never came close to going over the 32gb in my maxx. So any small reason not to switch or to switch is worth discussing :)

However, if I switched to the 64gb version, it would be like getting the NEW DROID TURBO all over again! Lol
