.595 stock to .595 deodexed?

In order to prepare for the gingerbread OTA I figured I would just use the full stock no root version of .595. However, it wasn't till after that I realized that since I did a data wipe just in case, I can't restore my apps with titanium backup without root. Here were the 3 options:

Is the only way to get to a deodexed version of .595 or even just to a point to use TB is to SBF?
