5.1 Maybe?

Reading the various post re 5.1 being released today made me wonder if Verizon will now go forward with ota for our turbos. Sounds like bugs have been dealt with so why not release it ?

Moto will have to add their minor customizations along with Verizon's bloat first. They've shown that they can be pretty quick with that though.

I googled "5.1 Upgrade" on my phone and it actually started laughing at me.
I think the sounds were coming from the phone (may have been the "usual" voices though)

Mine shuts off when I Google anything lollipop... I have to say I'm sorry like 50 times.. Then it boots up..

I asked moto assist when I was getting lollipop, the screen turned red and she said some very unpleasant things. I cried, said I was sorry and won't ask again. I think we're ok now.

I remember what Kit Kat did to my poor Razr M. The Turbo should be more than able to handle Lollipop but I'm still leery.

Exactly. My HD never recovered, even after they patched the broken patch.

I'm sure there will be a "soak" test a few days before it's pushed to everyone and as big as the update is and has been waited for there most likely will be a leak of the soak and I haven't heard a thing......

There's a memory leak in 5.0.1 and a worse one in 5.1? I do NOT want L....

Getting a leak of the soak usually entails having root to save it off the phone before it gets flashed. Since the Turbo still doesn't "officially" have root, it may not be able to be captured.

They are. I just read something about it.. We'll skip right to 5.1. But there's no time frame as to when.. Go figure
The reason given as to why. Volte is native to 5.1 so it makes things easier for moto and vzw supposedly..
