HTC Shares that Android 5.1 & Sense 7 UI Will Come to the One M8 in August

HTC has officially shared a timeline for the release of Android Lollipop version 5.1 for their previous generation HTC One M8 flagship. As you can see in the screencap of the Twitter post above, HTC UK confirmed the release info after responding to a curious owner. On top of the newest version of Lollipop, they also made it clear that their 7.0 version of Sense UI will come along for the ride as well.

It was because of the software delays that steered me toward the Nexus line up. I'd hate to know how much longer Verizon delays the 5.1 update.

WOW this really goes past the 90 day promise of software updates..

I guess they have never intended on keeping the promise of HTC advantage.
