4G Slim Card Error

I heard that some folks with the Moto X are having this error and the device getting real hot. They said it would work one day then the error and extreme heat.

Is the customer getting the sim error on the "Nano sim" ? From what I have researched the Moto X requires a Nano Sim for it to finction properly? And if they are, is it a sim from a previous device or is it a new sim?

I think it was the Nano Sim.

Next time have the customer try taking a pencil eraser and going lightly over the gold prongs on the back of the sim and gently wipe it off with a cloth and then try reinserting and see if they get the same error.
