4G keeps re setting back to 1x

Tried removing and re-inserting SIM card, but no luck. Any ideas?

Your signature says GN2. Is this for the Samsung S3? If so, did you download the latest update from a week or two ago? The latest software is the problem. Rumors indicate fix is coming early July. I swapped the sim and reset the phone. Each step made my phone worse. Wife and neighbor with Verizon GS3 have same problems.
