4 buttons under the screen

Is there a way to keep those buttons lit up at all times? Sometimes jets a guessing game when trying to hit a certain button

They're designed to turn off when not being used, you'd suffer battery life loss if they stayed lit all the time.

They will light up when you click the "Home" or "Power" button only...no other buttons when the screen is off..

After update 2.2.1, you can now hit any button on the bottom, and it will light up the screen, and turn on all 4 buttons. You then hit the correct button that you need.

So to answer your question, no they won't stay lit, but just grab the phone and hit any button and it will light up. That includes volume and camera buttons.

You can also try:

MENU > SETTINGS > APPLICATIONS > DEVELOPMENT > STAY AWAKE WHILE CHARGING.

If you are rooted you can download adjbrightness from the market, press menu, select Option, checkmark Lock on button light, you can also lock them off, which ironically is why i downloaded the app.

while all these are temporary solutions there is a better one
i posted it in your other thread, but here's a repeat

it's a build.prop tweak

change the line

ro.buttonlight.timeout=1
to
ro.buttonlight.timeout=0

that's from memory so i might have typed something wrong, but that line looks pretty much exactly like that
