3g speeds are so slow

My 3g speeds are so slow now its pissing me off. With the speedtest app I rarely get a test that goes over 500kb down(usually 200kb). I have tried several servers and have have performed the test more than a handful of times with each server. I even gave verizon the benefit of the doubt and have waited over a month for speeds to improve and nothing.

I have also "factory reset" my phone twice after reading this might help and still nothing.

I have the 3gturbocharger script and have tried all settings and still nothing has helped.

Anyone have any words of wisdom of how to increase my 3g speeds?
