Even though I live in a good 4G area, I had gotten into the habit of switching to 3G most of the time due to the vastly superior battery life. Speeds were slower than 4G obviously but still decent, in the 6-10Mbps range. However, since the OTA update, 3G is now extremely slow. I'm talking less than 1Mbps slow. 4G on the other hand is faster than ever, upwards of 20Mbps in some places.
I have a couple of friends with Bionics and they are also reporting much slower 3G since the OTA update. Are others in the forum experiencing this? Any workarounds or fixes? I was hoping the problem was temporarily high network traffic caused by everyone downloading the OTA, but days later I'm still having the problem. I hope it's not an issue with the new baseband.
