3G Compatibility

Does anyone know exactly if this phone is going to be compatible with 3G coverage at all? I mean, I know you won't get 4G features, but if you are like me and you aren't going to get 4G for two or three more years anyway... Is the phone worth waiting for? I mean... I want the phone, but will I be able to use it on a 3G network?
