3G and 1X Signal Bars?

Is there an app or some way to get my Droid to show both the 3G and 1X signal bars at once?

Don't think so. Why would you want that? Your phone uses either 3G or 1X, never both at the same time.

I have crappy coverage at the house and i have a network extender that only does 1x and my Droid shows no bars when i do have bars through the extender.

Also other areas have better 1x coverage and i would like to know where.

I did find an app called RealSignal that shows both as a background app. We will see how much battery it drains.
