32 gb sd card

I have a 32 GB class 10 card by PNY. Others may chime in, but from what I have read here and elsewhere is that the class 10 cards are what allow the fastest load speeds.

32GB cards work fine. No issues. The phone is officially capable of using up to a 32GB card (and even though it doesn't officially support them, 64GB microSDXC cards work just fine too). And yes, generally speaking, Class 10 cards are supposed to be the fastest.

Hmmm, did not know 64gb cards were avail..

Just got some higher end headphones and am now resampeling all my music in flac to put on my phone.

My 32 TB card is now holding about 55 albums and is pretty much filled.

Averaging about 400Mb's per album.

When switching out SD cards, do they have to be formatted first? Or does the phone do it for you? And I guess the best way to transfer the contents from the old to the new card would be USB them to my laptop and then transfer them back to the new card once it's installed?

I always format my SD cards INSIDE THE DEVICE its intended to be used in, then I put my data on it.... and USB is how I transfer data :)

64 here its got 48 on right now.

64GB card as well that has 57.49GB of files on it out of 59.46GB total capacity. When I first got the card and loaded it up, I only had 450MB free. But I ended up deleting stuff because I kept getting the low volume storage notification (which is something I wish you could completely get rid of, at least for the microSD card, especially since it was still throwing the notification even with 1.5GB free). I need to throw some more stuff on there to see if it will let me have less available space before giving the notification with ICS.

So how do you see what is on your SD card? and how do you transfer to your phone to put a bigger SD card in it. Or should I just how do I upgrade my card without losing what is on it?

All of you sd-card-ext data might not fit on your device, but ypu could do it in stages, or move your data to a cloud, like google drive or drop box...

but I do it manually, go into my files in the app tray, tap on SD card, long press on the file you want to move.. select move, tap the top of the screen, and select internal storage, then tap move.

This is a long tedious process.. but it works.
