2.3 for Droid X

Hey guys I just saw online that there maybe an Android 2.3 update for the DX as early as Sunday. Now I am rooted but im stock as in I have no rom installed so can I just accept the update and everything will go smoothly or will it have to unroot then accept the update? Any help is appericiated thanks!

If you haven't removed anything from the phone, then NO. You will not have to unroot to receive an OTA. You will loose root once the ota update is done. So far 2.3 hasn't been rooted, so you won't be able then re root.
