2.2.1 How! !!

After installing LIBERTY I noticed not all apps came in. Z4root was one of them. I looked on the SD card and it is not there. I thought I had better get it in case. Was having a hard time finding it I. Ran across someone saying it will not work on 2.2.1 <<< how did it get installed on. My phone? I did not accept it and I thought if I had a Rom installed it would not install auto. Now how do I get a Z4root that will work?

It most likely didn't show up because you didn't have it back up and your Google account didn't back it up cuz it wasn't from the market. Go to *********** and search for z4root.

OK---- I installed Z4root 1.3.0. -- I hope it will work with Android version 2.2.1 -- still wonder where and when 2.2.1 came in?

Liberty 1.5 was based on the DX's 2.2.1 update and since they are almost identical, it can be installed on the D2. It automatically comes on liberty if that's what your wondering

Maybe you should try manually rooting your phone. Screw Z4root.
