14 Day Return Policy Question

I just did an upgrade yesterday and picked up the Galaxy Nexus. I like the phone but coming from an HTC Thunderbolt I dont want to deal with the battery life issues again. The Nexus doesnt seem to have a much better battery than the Thunderbolt. So I am looking to return the Nexus and pick up a Razr MAXX HD. Granted the Razr is more expensive but to me its worth it since I am away from my charger a lot... So how does the exchange/return work? I assume the reatocking fee of 35 will apply then do I just pay the difference in phone costs? The Razr was 249 while the Nexus was 99...
