100% cpu and 114 degree battery??

On my way home from the mall I was using my D2G as a navigator in the car dock.

I kept getting the 100% cpu notice and the operating temp was up to 114 degrees!

This normal? I have only had the car for about a month and seldom use it.

Thanks

I'm 100% certain you're OK.;) But obviously something is pulling some juice from that battery. What does your battery report say is using it. Or are you saying it is the CPU that's using it?

Anytime I've ever used my nav in my og droid or the 2g it always sucks alot of power and heats up. It shouldn't be a problem. usually the heats settles at 119-124 degrees. i had my og droid at 123 for close to five hours with no problems.

Ok so I upgraded to the newer version of google maps 5.2.... once I uninstalled the updates everything went back to normal.
So possible bug within the beta version of google maps.

Anyway, back to normal!

Good to hear the droid cane withstand some heat. I take car trips often for 10 hours of driving.... good to know I can count on it!
