Won't accept scanned fingerprints

I'm trying to register all five fingers on my right hand. The only one I've had any success with is my thumb. When I did this before the 5.0 upgrade, I had no trouble swiping my fingers correctly. Now I'm either too slow, too fast, or don't swipe enough of the button or the correct area, according to the phone.

Is anyone else running into this since the upgrade? I've tried swiping slowly, quickly and everything in between and it refuses to register my fingerprints.

Thank you.

Mine works without issue. I'm not a fan of it due to having to actually swipe, but it does work as intended on my 5.0.1.

I wish they would make it so you could just touch the scanner, instead of swiping.

I totally agree. You know it is possible. If it can accept a scan from a swipe it surely can accept a scan from just a touch. I never understood why they didn't go that route.
