Way to remove extra homescreens without hijacking interface

I am trying remove an extra homescreen or two without installing a program that completely hijacks the interface I've been working so hard on. Can anyone provide any suggestions?

well to do that you will need to install a launcher replacement like adw or launcherpro. i dont think we can do that since motorola doesnt release there blur source.
