Want to upgrade and keep unlimited/no upgrade available

I got 3 smartphones on Verizon, but I want to upgrade to a Note 3. What is the cheapest way to get one? Add a line and switch it to my main # with unlimited data or just pay full retail? I don't really no of anyway else.
