They can certainly afford upgrades and keeping unlimited data plan, but like any corporation, they are greedy and it's all about $$$$$

If they kept the money and lined their pockets, and not invest in the infrastructure, then your comment would make sense. If I owned a corporation, or if you owned a corporation, wouldn't it be about profitability?
