If you have a Verizon branded Samsung Galaxy S5, you'll be receiving a minor OTA update.

The update includes Samsung Galaxy Apps and the fingerprint scanner can now be used to unlock your phone when you have a Microsoft Exchange account acting as a device administrator. The sensor really makes the balance between convenience and security easier, so those who need this will be happy to see it.

No word on 5.1 yet but we'll be sure to keep you updated.

Should be rolling out now. Check your phone manually for update.

Why not open the fingerprint scanning totally? Or perhaps MS paid for the upgrade??

Hopefully this helps, 5.0 hasn't been wonderful on my S5.
Thanks for the update.

No update on mine . I just checked it with Kies3 and nothing . My S5 isn't hooked up to the Verizon network and is just serving as a backup incase something were to happen to my Droid Turbo .
