USB Problems

Hey Guys and Girls,

I'm attempting to root my X, finally got enough guts to do it.

I go to plug in my phone via USB cable and my PC and my MAC aren't recognizing it at all. like nothing pops up, like no usb connected.

Any help would be appreciated.

you have to drag down ur notification window and click on usb and then click to what mode u want im pretty sure its on charge only mode as ur explaining

I don't even get that, Nor does it charge.

Yet my Father's BB just plugged right in and started charging....

Haha, No He used My cable...Without my permission too haha.

I take it this isn't a normal occurance.
