Just like that we have an unofficial build of CyanogenMod 12.1 for the Moto X Play. As developer friendly as this device is I would not be surprised if we see a full official build of CM within the next several weeks. Unofficial builds are normally the first step in the process to nightlies for the would be official maintainer (Show us you can build it then we will support it).
The developer reminds us that this is still a very early port, and says that he only considers this as an early beta build. Most functions are working and this should be stable enough to use as a daily driver. The only real bug here is the fact that the phone will soft reboot when using GPS when mobile data is enabled. If you use GPS daily then you may want to wait for this bug to be removed. Otherwise it may be worth giving this build a shot. This is flashable via TWRP. You will want to be sure that you also grab the latest Gapps package to flash along side the CM build otherwise you won't be able to use Google services. Grab this Rom from the link below.
