Uninstalling 3rd party apps

How do you go about uninstalling 3rd party apps???? I installed the 2.1 Gallery but it is causing conflicts when trying to set wallpapers. So I figure I will just get rid of it until the official 2.1 release.

menu > settings > applications > manage applications > filter > all > scroll to the 2.1 gallery and click on it > then 'uninstall'

Go to Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/ and find the name of that Gallery, click on it and select uninstall!

And there is no problem if you have 2 Gallery (or Map). One will say "Uninstall" and the other will say "Uninstall Updates." In an unrooted phone, the only one you can uninstall will be the one that says, well, "Uninstall."
