So I finally looked at some tips for improving battery life and realized how big of a drain keeping sync turned on is. I've had it turned on since I've had the phone. The thing is, I need it, and I'll never remember to turn it on and off manually. I have my Outlook calendar at work sync with my Google calendar using Google Calendar Sync, which is the easiest way to get it on my phone.

Is there an app that will let me turn sync on and off for a few minutes at a time at scheduled times? If I could have it on only while I'm at work that would be perfect, since it's on a charger all day here anyway.

I keep sync on all the time. I regularly go 14 hours off the charger (from 8am to 10pm) and rarely go below 20%. Usually I'm still around 50% at 10pm. Battery Left is telling me my battery life based on my usage over the last week is nearly 26 hours.

I went ahead and turned mine back on. Apparently it doesn't check your email with sync off? Forget it.
