Select text, cut and paste is a root canal

This droid is great, except for selecting text, cut and paste. With stock keyboard and swype both, it is painful as a root canal.

The hardware keyboard makes it a lot easier. Select text by holding down the shift key and touching what you want to highlight, and then the regular keyboard commands apply (menu+c = copy, menu+v= paste)

I know the hardware keyboard usually gets a bad rap, but it does make editing text much much easier, especially the the d pad.
