sbf with linux help

For anyone with linux experience:

I've been able to sbf with ubuntu (via virtual box on a mac) on my old D2, but now I have a D2G, and I just can't make it work anymore.
I do everything the same, but I always get a "unexpected EOF" error. I've tried both sbf files, older and 330, and it's the same for both.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The ISO he made works great... no worries about drivers, etc... just boot and go

I looked at something similar before, but I wasn't aware that they had one for the global! I'll try this out, thanks for letting me know.

If u r using linux, try looking for sbf_flash it is linux based and very easy to use.

You know, I don't think I ever unzipped the sbf file. All this update.zip stuff has me confused. I'll bet that's it.

I ended up using the linux boot cd iso that was recommended by tgambitg, which worked flawlessly. I'm now running rooted GB on my D2G. Thanks for all the help! http://www.droidforums.net/forum/members/168767.html
