OK! Once you have that file downloaded onto your PC, make sure you have the newest Samsung Drivers installed for your device from:

Support SAMSUNG Electronics Turkey

Then after that, extract the .zip file. This has everything you need to repair your device.

READ THRU THESE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST!! :)

Charge your battery to 100% (if possible)
Right click on the ODIN v3.10.exe, and run as administrator.
Now look in the checkboxes for "Auto reboot" , "UNCHECK" this box!
Now left-click on the "BL" button on the right side of the program window. And select the "sboot.tar" file and left-click "Open".
Now left-click on the "AP" button on the right side of the program window. And select the "boot.tar" file and left-click "Open".

At this point make sure your device is in "ODIN Download" mode, and connect to computer. When the computer makes the sound that it is connected, look in ODIN and see if you see a blue stripe above "ID:COM" in upper left area of program window.
Look for the "Phone Bootloader Update" checkbox and select if not "Greyed" out.
HIT THE START BUTTON!

When the green PASS notice appears, remove the battery from the device.

Unplug the USB cable from the device.
Left-click on the "RESET" button inside the ODIN Software on the PC.
Left-click on the "AP" button and selecet the "Recovery.tar" file and left-click "Open".
Replace battery into device, and place into "ODIN Download" mode again.
Connect to the USB cable.
When the computer makes the sound the device is connected, hit the "Start" button on ODIN Software.
Device should restart into your Phone. Let it work!

UPDATE me if this works or fails before you try to do anything else! ;)

Just an update on the issue....

We attempted almost everything to repair the device to access the data, unfortunately, it appears that device has a hardware issue that we were unable to repair! ;(

I tried for two days...And it was a no go! I am sorry to report..I am out of solutions!

Hi I'm having similar issues with my s3 it'll turn on but it shuts off during the boot animation. It is rooted & I had pacman rom installed on it but it had too many bugs. So I wiped & flashed cm12 5.0 it was working fine except for the camera issue. But now i cant get it to stay on. Its the AT&T model, I747 any advice would be greatly appreciated.

@smata367 your going to need to ODIN flash the device back to stock with the following checkmarks.

Auto-Reboot
Re-Partition
F. Reset Time
NAND Erase All
Phone Bootloader Update
Phone EFS Clear.

I will send you the link to the image file in a private message
