I have an attorney who just got a Samsung Fascinate and will be on our company's exchange server. He is coming from a different provider so he wasn't on the exchange server to begin with. So.... we want to get him onto the exchange server but not sync his contacts because the contacts he has on his phone is not what he has in his outlook contacts.
So, my question is, is there any way to get his current contacts from the old provider phone, onto his new Verizon phone that is going to be on the exchange server without syncing his outlook contacts.......
If we can only skip the syncing contacts part while getting him on the exchange server, we can try and take both phones to a Verizon store here in Montana to have them transfered by one of their machines. I was told that the Westcoast stores have gotten rid of this machine and now customers must rely on the Back Up Assistant (side note: I think is a pain in the butt for regular droid users... or at least I think it's a pain).
