Rooting questions.

Hey guys just a few questions in rooting. I have the incredible 2 (duh) and i lobe this phone. Besides the factory resets when an app goes missing. Anyway I was thinking about rooting my phone. Is rooting this phone complicated? What are the benefits of rooting? And what's the risk of messing up my phone?

It's hard to screw it up. Just invest the time to read everything and download everything you need ahead of time.
There are many advantages. I rooted for 3 reasons.
I want to be able to take screenshots.
I wanted to get rid of the preinstalled apps that you cannot delete and that nag you for updates... For things you don't use.
I wanted to see what all the hubbub was about. Lol
Do it right, do your backups, and you will be switching roms like some people switch shoes.
It's easy if done right.
You can have a naked Google phone with Cyanogen.
You can have newer versions of HTC Sense with Skyraider and Incredible HD.
You can radically change the phone with something like MIUI Rom.
Do it man. It's easy to go back if you dont like it.
