Howdy fellow df members. I have an old android phone. I believe its the blu studio 5.3. I have a lot of pics on it. One day while getting out of my car I dropped it and smashed the screen. It now doesn't respond to touches. So last night I figured I would hook it up to my PC and extract all of the apps pics and texts from it via USB. Well a ghost stole my battery lol I know some phones will power on without the battery ad long as its plugged in. But not this one. It just power cycles. Is there anyway to extract the files from the phone via USB without turning it on or a way to trick the circuitry into thinking that there is a battery installed so it'll turn on? Possibly splicing a cable and hooking neg to neg and pos to pos on the terminals maybe? I'm open to ideas. Thanks.
