Repeated missed call notifications

Hi guys. A newbie here, hoping someone can help me. I received a missed call yesterday and since then have been getting repeat sms notifications about it. I have listened to the message on my voicemail and cleared it but the notifications keep coming through. Can anyone please help? Thank you, James

Have you tried texting "stop" back? That is supposed to work. Most of the texting apps have blacklist options. I use handcent and blacklist them.

It is coming from my voicemail number. I am using SMS blocker and have blocked the number there but still no joy.

Are you using Google voice or the Verizon VM with the standard app for it?

I am using the standard app. Just upgraded to ICS yesterday and it seems to have stopped. Hope that has solved the problem.
