Remove apps

ok so is there a way to remove/delete the stock apps that came with the droid? the ones that really are usless to some people like me....voice dialer, corp calendar etc.... and 2nd what are the most important or useful apps to put on the phone that is NOT rooted....there is a calendar out there i would like to have but not sure its name or if its part of a theme....any help will b appreciated....

You have to have root access to remove those apps.

Rooting the Moto Droid is a fairly easy process, with a ton of instructions in stickies all over this forum. Depending on your use, and how savvy you feel, it may or may not be worth your time.
