Refurbished Droid x problems

I have just gotten a refurbished droid x from verizon and am already experiencing problems with it. I first started out with not that many widgets or apps and it worked fine. Then i downloaded more and it started to act really slow. I cant play any games without lag and it seems that i cant connect to the 3G network all the time. I dont know if this is my phone or if there is something i can do to help resolve the issue. I deleted all the widgets and its still acting slow.

Yup it could be a few apps running in the background. Check the battery manager and see what's running and using resources
