Really cheap 3500 mah batteries on ebay?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone bought one of these really cheap 3500 mah batteries off ebay? Why do you think they're so cheap? Does anyone have any feedback, bad/good experiences with these? Should I even bother?

I bought a 5 dollar battery plus tax at amazon.com. Decided to get it since it was a steal and had about 35+ positive reviews. Try amazon!

I gave bought 2 off eBay. One for me and one as a gift. They work well, I get a good 24 hours of use. They are well worth the money. The only thing is that the cheap ones are from Hong Kong and it takes up to a month to get them. And shop around, because there are several back cover designs. And there is a 2200 mah battery with cover that is in-between the two in size. I'm about to order one of those myself.

If you're lucky, they don't explode. If you're unlucky they do explode and you have to buy a new Droid, or drain it of acid. I never had a bad experience, but others have, just putting it out there. Did not try it for Droids yet, but it seems the form factor is the most important thing, batteries are usually made pretty well.

I bought one paid a penny for it and 9.99 for shipping LOL it was from Hong Kong said it should take 30 days to get and I got it in 2 weeks. Works really well

Wow that's great to hear for future reference. I bought the 3500 mAh battery from Acase off Amazon for 24.99 and free two day shipping and it's been running great so far.

I have two purchased on eBay. They are really good and the stand by time is phenominal.
Bottom line is, it just gives you more time to kill it.
