question about rooting verizon build vrudmi1

I still have the old build vrudmi7 and am rooted. I want to upgrade to vrudmi1 and I know how to root the new build but I have some questions about it.

After flashing the root files with Odin will I still be able to remove root if I decide ? Will rooting by flashing block me future upgrading ota updates? Will my phone still be stock? And should I unfreeze all the system apps before I do the update to vrudmi1
