Whats up guys i'm Josh and I just got my droid about 3 weeks ago!
I'm loving it!

Probably the best smart phone I've ever played on!

I thought it was funny tho, the nexus one was released like 5 days after I got the droid! Dang!!

While I do believe you can get the Nexus One 'unlocked,' it was my understanding that you couldn't bring it over to Verizon. I may be wrong on that though...

Oh, and welcome to the DROID family!

You are correct droidfannd. The N1 currently runs only on GSM networks (AT&T - EDGE (2G), T-Mobile - 3G). They are planning on releasing a version of the N1 that works on CDMA networks like Verizon. Word is that should be here this spring sometime.

Welcome Joshyman! My name is Josh as well.

Welcome to the world of Android Josh, enjoy your stay here man.

And yeah, T-Mobile DOES suck.....them and their limited coverage, and zero 3g coverage. be glad you got the Droid, on the BEST network.

As far as apps go, you should just browse the market, find something you are interested in, install it, try it out, and get rid of it if you don't like it. Repeat.

*WARNING* Set aside a few hours before beginning this process. Its addicting!
