Here's a bit of a surprise from left field. OnePlus just announced a press event coming to London on October 29th. They will unveil something "Powerfully Beautiful" that will be some type of "X" device.
As you can see from the image they tweeted above, it looks like there will be a OnePlus X smartphone of some kind. We aren't sure what to make of this. Could it be a place-holder for the rumored OnePlus Mini? Is it something entirely new? Why is it nearly every manufacturer thinks they need to have an "X" branded phone?
While that last question will probably never be answered, the others should be at the end of this month. We will cover the event in real time here, so be sure to stay tuned.
