Because of a fairly large collection of music and podcasts I keep it all on a 500 GB USB HD. This seems to confuse iTunes so now my music library is spread over two HD's and it doesn't seem to matter how many times I tell iTunes where the music is, in a couple of days it's back to the C: drive.
The last few days moving music over to my DX2 and I can't find files, they're spread to the winds. Half my library is still locked down with DMR (boo!) and I thought I gave Apple $30 to clear my library but nooooooo!
The work-around is tedious and now I have several audio CDs' that play fine but don't have anything more useful than "TrackXX". No album art or title name. So I drag and drop them into DX2 "Dexter?", sorry, and re-name the files right away before I forget.
Any easy way to remove DMR for my music? (by the way it's all paid for cuz I never pirate!)
