Notification problems

I dnt know if anyone else has the same probs, but since the update to 2.3 my notifications for gmail do not show. Anyone else know anything about that? I'm not rooted, and I even did a factory reset which didn't do anything to fix that problem.

You probably just don't have syncing on. Go into your account settings and make sure that sync gmail is enabled. You can install Power Control Widget on one of your homescreens to toggle all syncing on and off as needed.
